1. Respect Rules, prices, and conditions

Our concept is based on mutual respect between tenants and landlords. To ensure this, we are unfortunately obliged to impose certain penalties in the event of non-compliance with our basic rules, also known as “rules of respect.”

These rules and fees, such as late fees, damage fees, or cleaning fees, can be found by our customers on our website www.letzgo-carsharing.lu, and must always be observed.

The rules and conditions of respect are an integral part of the Terms and Conditions.

The following costs are NOT covered by the deductible and must be paid in full by the party at fault (tenant or landlord) within 7 days of the incident:

Assistance without full mobility protection option

You will be charged for the service:

Depending on the situation, €150 to a maximum of €250 per intervention.

Vehicle not returned to the drop-off location
  • 400m to 2km away: €20
  • 2km to 10km away: €50
  • More than 10km away: from €100
Returning the vehicle with insufficient fuel/charge

From €25

Electric car not connected to charging station upon return / not charging

Heavy soiling

Cleaning costs according to work + processing fee of €25

The booking is not permitted.

Late vehicle return:
  • 10 minutes = buffer
  • From 11 minutes - €10

Failure to show up for a booking – without cancellation

The booked time will be charged to the tenant in full.

Cancellation fees:

Max. 1 hour after you have made your booking - Free + full refund OR 12 hours or more before the start of the rental period

Everything else - You will be charged for the entire time you booked.

Trip completed before booking time ended

The booked time will always be charged in full.

Major damage to the interior

From €100 up to the cost of the repair

Negligent actions such as theft due to improperly locked vehicle, missing documents, fraud in personal details, driving in unauthorized locations, late payments, rental not correctly terminated, etc.

The invoice for the resulting costs will be sent to the person responsible by email.

In the event of a total loss, we unfortunately have to have our car sharing system removed from the vehicle by our provider.

The responsible tenant will be charged for the cost of removing the hardware ONLY if the total damage was their fault (up to a maximum of €250).

The costs will be invoiced to the tenant after analysis and sent by email.

Incorrect information in the vehicle description (for the rental company) resulting in damage:

The renter will be reimbursed for their loss (cancellation of a rental, damage due to incorrect handling, etc.) + as an apology, the renter will be fully reimbursed for one free hour by the rental company.

Do not leave the vehicle in a condition that is not roadworthy (renter and/or rental company):

The resulting costs/losses will be automatically debited from the guilty party.

2. Additional information:

  • Fuel is always free!
  • Insurance costs are always free.
  • There are no maintenance costs.
  • Clear negligence that is not listed here may also be charged in individual cases.
Deposit/excess:

Our deductible is €1,700 (€1,000 if you select the deposit reduction option). The vehicles do not belong to us, so this serves to protect our loyal car rental companies. Our car sharing network is based on mutual respect between renters and owners. This is not intended to discourage anyone, but simply to make renters aware that they should treat Letzgo vehicles as if they were their own.  

3. Example: Deposit reduction option activated:

Accident/breakdown:
  • Example 1:

According to our insurance company's detailed analysis, the repair costs amount to €3,500. You pay a maximum of €1,000. No more, no less.

  • Example 2:

According to our insurance company's detailed analysis, the repair costs amount to €500 (e.g. mirror, wheel rim, or similar). You pay €500 and the remaining €500 will of course be refunded to you.

  • This means that you only pay for your damage up to the maximum amount of your excess.
  • The remainder of your excess will be transferred back to your account after the entire processing period.
  • If this option is not activated, you will always pay a maximum of £1,700.

4. Example: Full mobility insurance activated:

All services included in our mobility protection are available to you in any case.

However, if the option is not activated, you will have to bear the resulting costs yourself in the event of an intervention by our assistance service!

  • Example 1: Option selected (£0.95/hour)

All mobility protection services are completely free for you and all your passengers!

  • Example 2: Option not activated

All mobility protection services will be provided for you and your passengers, but you will be responsible for the resulting costs.

  • €150 to €250 maximum per intervention. These costs and the corresponding invoice will be sent to you by email after a detailed evaluation and are payable within 14 days.
